This is not a promotion, but something I found usefull in my day-to-day tasks. In other word: sharing is caring...
TRMNL is a minimalist e-ink display for your desk that shows only what matters—time, weather, calendar, and tasks—without notifications, distractions, or eye strain. It’s the productivity gadget you didn’t know you needed.

Why TRMNL is Awesome
- Zero Distractions: No pings, no ads, no “quick check” that turns into doomscrolling.
- Always-On, Easy on Eyes: E-ink means no glare, no power drain, and a calm, paper-like vibe.
- Looks Gorgeous: Minimalist design that makes your desk look like a productivity shrine.
- Shows What You Need: Calendar events, top tasks, weather—done.
Here is the list of my favorite plugins
- Github Commit Graph - something to keep me on track with my contributions and coding work
- Stock Price - because investments are important...
- Google Calendar - minus 1 tab of my browser, yet I am always aware of my schedule
- The Office - a great reminder (and quotes...) about non less of a great show
What’s Next? Maybe My Own TRMNL Plugin…

Here’s the thing: as much as I love TRMNL out of the box, I can already feel that itch—the developer itch. What if I could make it even more me? A plugin that shows my GitHub PR statuses, a countdown to production deploys, or maybe a live metric from my CI/CD pipeline? That would be chef’s kiss productivity geekery.
TRMNL already supports integrations and has an API, so the temptation is real. One day soon, I might just roll up my sleeves and write my own plugin. Because honestly, what’s better than a minimalist screen? A minimalist screen that whispers, “Your code just passed all tests, champ.”
Conclusion
So if you’re tired of your “productivity system” looking like 47 open tabs and a prayer, do yourself a favor and grab a TRMNL—you’ll finally have a desk accessory that works harder than your coffee mug.
